formerly Call Center Solutions magazine, announced the awarding of Product of the Year
to MoonFire Corporation's DialVision
CIM
(Customer Interaction Management) software. This is the second year straight that
DialVision
has won this award. MoonFire has traditionally provided telemarketing software primarily
to the university market where it is considered to be the technological leader. MoonFire
has recently begun marketing its software horizontally to all markets. Tracy Jones,

DialVision
is a Web-based Inbound/Outbound
telemarketing software application. Running on a centralized Web Server, DialVision allows
centralized agents, remote agents, or decentralized call centers to access the
Web-servers centralized database through a Web browser.
DialVision
incorporates logical branched
scripting for quality inbound or outbound calls. The Caller sees only the immediate
question with all the possible answers. Clicking on the answer given by the prospect steps
the Caller through the script. The Caller is never more than one click away from accessing
further information or recording the call result.
DialVision
uses Microsofts SQL Server
for a centralized client/server database; the Web Server utilizes Microsofts
Internet Information Server (IIS). Because DialVision uses an ODBC-compliant database, it
can access data from other ODBC databases such as Oracle, Sybase, Informix, etc.
The Callers use PCs to access DialVision through Microsofts Internet Explorer Web
browser. DialVision utilizes Progressive Dialing to recognize and act upon call states
such as busy signals and no answers without Caller intervention. Dialing is achieved
through interfaces to popular PBXs.
