Artisoft Teams With MoonFire To Create Total Telemarketing Solution

TeleVantage To Integrate With DialVision for Contact Center Telemarketing

Cambridge, MA — May 2, 2001 —Artisoft®, Inc. (NASDAQ: ASFT), a leading provider of software-based phone systems, and MoonFire Corp., today announced that they have formed a relationship to jointly market a telemarketing solution for small and medium-sized businesses through Artisoft's Open Communications Alliance program. The integration of Artisoft's award-winning TeleVantage 3.5 software PBX and MoonFire's DialVision telemarketing application will provide a complete contact center CIM (Customer Interaction Management) solution.

The cooperation between DialVision and TeleVantage will offer a rich solution designed to assist with inbound and outbound telephone campaigns, including full outbound call progress analysis and inbound call capturing with automatic number identification (ANI) or dialed number identification service (DNIS) for immediate script pops. This initiative will provide companies with an additional revenue-driving vehicle in addition to handling their telephony needs.

Unlike proprietary phone systems, TeleVantage operates on Windows NT® and Windows 2000 systems and uses off-the-shelf computer and telephony hardware, lowering the total cost of ownership for businesses. It provides small- to medium-sized businesses and corporate branch offices with a complete, feature-rich phone system that is cost-effective and simple to expand and upgrade for an investment that gains value over time. TeleVantage provides intelligent call management, ACD functionality, a graphical interface, IP telephony, Web browser capability, and messaging features. TeleVantage easily scales up to 96 trunks by 264 extensions, ensuring that the system will grow with developing businesses.

DialVision, a Web-driven CIM application provides a browser interface that allows agents to "surf" through data with ease. Hyperlinks connect agents to all their critical information at the moment it is needed. MoonFire runs on Microsoft's Windows 2000 Server, Microsoft IIS (Internet Information Server), and Microsoft's SQL Server. Because DialVision uses a standard Web browser interface, agents can change customer contact and management information from any location where an Internet connection is available. The application gives organizations a way to let multiple contact centers access a centralized database via the Internet.

"Artisoft's success in the small- and medium-sized business market with TeleVantage offered the perfect partnership opportunity," said Tracy Jones, President and CEO of MoonFire. "Combining the power and intelligence of the TeleVantage phone system with our DialVision telemarketing application creates a complete contact center telemarketing solution."

"MoonFire's DialVision telemarketing application has proven itself in the university and non-profit markets, providing TeleVantage with an installed base of customers to pursue," said Carol Meier, vice president of marketing at Artisoft. "Integrating TeleVantage with MoonFire's innovative telemarketing application offers businesses a solution that will handle their daily communications as well as their revenue generation campaigns."
