San Diego, CA (October 19, 2000) MoonFire Corporation today
announced its entry into the ASP (Application Service Provider) arena at CRM Demo
& Conference 2000.
It is now possible to rent MoonFires award-winning
DialVision® CIM (Customer Interaction Management) software
on a month-to-month basis. MoonFire has become a "pure play" ASP, and enhanced
DialVision so the 100% web-based master version at MoonFires
headquarters can be accessed by an unlimited number of organizations across the Internet.
This new service is called MoonFire "Managed" ASP.
MoonFire has traditionally licensed its software for installation
at customer sites. Tracy Jones, President and CEO of MoonFire, said, "We are
delighted to be one of the few Independent Software Vendors with a product that is
designed from the ground up as a 100% web-based application, allowing it to be used
effectively in an ASP environment, without third-party products such as Terminal Server.
CRM Demo & Conference is the perfect venue for making this announcement. Were
instantly reaching our market and getting feedback from the industrys major buyers
and sellers."
MoonFire "Managed" ASP allows traditional or remote
agents to access the Web-servers centralized database through a Web browser. The
application also allows organizations with multiple Contact Centers to function
from one centralized database and report on each Contact Center individually, or report on
productivity across the organization.
MoonFires ASP offering is unique in that
MoonFire personnel assume responsibility for all the "high-tech" tasks that are
usually managed by the customers staff. Jones said "Small to medium-sized
organizations have great difficulty in attracting and keeping highly-paid technology
experts. MoonFire maintains all the Web and Database Servers eliminating the need for
customers to hire Network Administrators. MoonFire also manages all the technical aspects
of the database, such as imports, so the customer doesnt have to hire a Database
Administrator. This is an even greater issue for organizations with a need to staff
multiple Contact Centers."
MoonFire Corporation is a closely held company. MoonFire designs,
